Classes
CIAU will offer non-credit courses in Chinese to students and professionals.
In addition, we will develop instructional modules for use in K-12 classrooms.
Corporate Training
CIAU offers a range of services to corporations and businesses interesting in working in China or with Chinese businesses:
- seminars on Chinese language, business, cultures, trade history, and relationship to the world economy
- translation services
- consulting services on China's marketplace, working and living conditions
- business trips with a member of the CIAU faculty acting as a mentor and translator
- short courses on simple Chinese conversation and basic skills for traveling in China
- assistance with arrangements for internships and business opportunities in China
Lecture Series
A series of lectures, open to the Alfred University campus community and the public, will explore various aspects of Chinese culture and language.
Summer Courses
Special summer school sessions for those who want to expand their knowledge of the Chinese language and culture in a more concentrated time frame.
